This 1600kwe ATEX Compliant Zone 2 Generator set is attenuated with a sound proof enclosure of 73dbA @ 1m, and with Fire Damper, Water Mist System, Smoke and Heat Detectors. Controlled with redundant PLC and SIL 2 philosophy, it is protected by full Gas Detection System, air shut off valve, air inlet/exhaust flame traps as a package solution which meets the requirements of ATEX Directive 94/9/EC – Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, witness by ABS Surveyor. The genset is remotely cooled by 3 integral fan powered by EX’d rated motor with attenuator (85dba@1m)
