This 1200kwe Offshore genset is protected from the harsh offshore environment by an impressive SS316L Sound Proof Enclosure. It is powered by the Cummins QSK60 Marine Diesel Engine coupled to Leroy Somer IP55 Alternator. The Fire Damper (also in SS316) shuts down upon the activation of the genset’s CO2 Fire Fighting System. The genset is controlled by Full Zone 2 Electrical Control and Instrumentation. The starting system is via Electric and Hydraulic Starting. It even has its own built in 7,000L Fuel Tank!
